Workbench

This table has been designed and built within one and a half weeks. As a reaction to the assignment of building a workbench, it puts the definition of work into a current context. It is loosely inspired by baroque furniture but with a more minimalistic approach. It contains two drawers of which one can be locked and a pole with sockets in the middle which can be hidden under the surface of the table. Different from baroque furniture I wanted to highlight the connections instead of hiding them.
